Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment including Cloud, DevOps, DataOps, BigData analytics, API Management, product, software development, and technology staff to deliver existing and new product solutions.

BigOpenCloud.com, April 2013 – Sept 2013, Owner & Founder

I was the founder-owner of the company, we were a small team of 6 Engineers, sales, and pre-sales. We tried to have OpenStack distribution and a new Hadoop distro, created our own free and opensource based Cloud and Big Data products to run on low-cost commodity hardware. There was no direct GUI installer for the Open stack, we tried to create an OpenStack GUI Installer and also an OpenStack distro on a pen drive so that it can be just used to boot on a server. A distro for creating a Hadoop cluster created our first sandbox VM i.e. Virtual Appliance as a Hadoop cluster that can be installed on any hypervisor and low-cost hardware.

As vSpecialist: Was leading the Specialist Pre-Sales Engineers of 5-6 members, I was Responsible for Public and Private Cloud using IaaS, Cloud Foundry PaaS solutions with EMC, VMware, VCE, Pivotal’s products. As VCE’s pre-sales face for APAC for vBlocks, was involved in presenting and introducing vBlocks to customers for the private and public cloud, Big Data-related products like Greenplum & Isilon.
